Now that it”s starting to snow in parts of the country, it”s time to start preparing for a favorite winter pastime: sledding.

There”s nothing like zipping down a snow-covered hill at blinding speeds. When you”re going for speed, your sled”s function usually matters more than its style. Though in some cases, style goes a long way.

Some sledders use plastic or wooden sleds. Others use air-filled inner-tubes. The most epic sledders make their own sleds. Reddit user fortyozjuicebox posted an awesome sled he built himself modelled after a speeder from Star Wars.
