It turns out, you don”t have to travel far to find new and interesting places to explore. Sometimes these places are right under your feet.

Recently, photographer Sam Horine was given access to one of these cool and rarely seen places when he went to an underground train platform below the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. He took some amazing pictures of this secret platform, and they”ll definitely make you want to go out and explore your own town to find something new.

Imagine being on these tracks all alone, not knowing if it was day or night, and all you hear are the strange echoes sounding through the train tunnel. Creeeepy.
