Sometimes it”s fun to experiment with weird makeup, but there”s a really annoying downside: you actually have to buy all that wacky makeup, and the likelihood of ever wearing that lime green eyeliner again is, well, pretty slim.
Still, some events (like costume or theme parties) call for nontraditional makeup. The good news is that you can actually make it using colored pencils. That”s right, regular old colored pencils. Just make sure that you”re getting the nontoxic kind that are safe for kids. If a kid can eat it, you can put it on your face.
You”ll need a box of colored pencils.
You can use any colors you want, and they wash off with water. Olive oil also makes a great eye makeup remover, FYI.
Go nuts with color!

Oh, and you can use them as a lip liner, too.
Just to be clear, Crayola does not endorse this use of their pencils, and we”re not trying to say they do! As with any other makeup, always do a test patch on your wrist to ensure that you don”t have any adverse reactions. Happy doodling!
