On the snowy peaks of a ski run in Lindvallen, Sweden, everything looks pretty normal. The resort boasts plenty of challenging slopes, and it’s always bustling with thrill-seeking families. But there’s something else on this property that you probably wouldn’t expect to see: a McDonald’s restaurant.
While it may sound bizarre, it’s pretty nice for tired skiers to be able to grab a snack on the go.
After a day of skiing in the brisk weather, a hot meal probably sounds really appealing.
There’s even a ski-through window!
Customers ski right up to the counter and order, and then take their food with them as they continue skiing. While it sounds weird, this spot has remained popular since it opened in the 1990s.
And if eating a Big Mac while skiing sounds like a choking hazard, you’ll be pleased to know that there is also indoor seating.
It can accommodate up to 140 people.
This location even has its own commercial! Check it out:

If you’re ever skiing in Sweden and find yourself craving some classic American junk food, you’re in luck. Just don’t eat it too fast. No one wants to deal with cramps.
